These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Kodiak Media Group, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Kodiak Media Group," "we," "us," or "our"). By booking a studio session or workspace, purchasing production, editing, streaming, drone, or consulting services, subscribing to a recurring plan, or using kodiakmediagroup.com, you agree to these Terms.
If you are booking or purchasing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company. You must be 18 or older to book or purchase. Anyone under 18 may only be present with a parent or guardian.
Where you and Kodiak Media Group also sign a separate written agreement, statement of work, or production contract, that signed agreement controls to the extent it conflicts with these Terms. In the absence of a signed agreement, these Terms govern your booking and use of our Services.
Kodiak Media Group is a video production and marketing company. Depending on availability, our Services may include:
Specific inclusions, run times, deliverables, and add-ons are described at the point of booking or purchase and form part of your agreement with us.
Most bookings, invoicing, and payments are managed through our client platform, Archie, with payments processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full payment card number; card data is handled by these providers under their own security standards.
A booking is confirmed only when payment (or an authorized hold, where applicable) completes and you receive a confirmation. Unpaid or unconfirmed slots are not held. All prices are in US dollars and are shown before checkout. The price you pay at the time of booking is the price for that booking, even if our rates later change.
Your reserved time starts and ends as booked. Running past your reserved time depends on the next booking and, if permitted, is billed at our standard rate. Any add-ons you select are billed as described at checkout.
Unless a different policy is stated for a specific service or package at the time of purchase, the following applies to bookable studio and session time:
To cancel or reschedule, contact us using the details in Section 13. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days to appear.
If we must cancel a booking for any reason on our end — equipment failure, facility issues, or otherwise — you may choose a full refund or a rescheduled session. Production, editing, and post-production packages may have their own turnaround times, revision limits, and cancellation rules, which are stated at the time of purchase; once work has begun, fees for work already performed may be non-refundable.
Some Services are offered as subscription plans that automatically bill on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled.
Deliverables, file formats, and turnaround times are described for each Service or package at the time you book or purchase. Revision rounds, where offered, are limited to the number stated for that package and are not unlimited. Delivery timelines begin when a session ends, or for production and editing work, when we have received everything we need from you to proceed.
Drone and aerial video are subject to applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules, airspace restrictions, weather conditions, and any required property or location permissions. We may reschedule, modify, or cancel aerial work when it cannot be performed safely or lawfully, and will work with you to reschedule or adjust the deliverable accordingly.
You own the content you record. Once your session or project is paid for, the footage, audio, and finished files are yours to publish, license, and monetize as you choose.
We retain ownership of our equipment, sets, templates, workflows, and the design of our website and platforms. Nothing in these Terms transfers those to you.
We will not use your content to promote Kodiak Media Group without your permission. If we would like to feature a clip, image, or your brand in our marketing, we will ask, and you may decline without it affecting your other Services.
You confirm that you have the rights to record and use the content you create with us, including any music, footage, logos, brands, or third-party material you bring in, and that you have permission from everyone appearing in your recordings. You are responsible for the legality of the content you produce using our Services.
We rely on third-party platforms to operate, including Archie (bookings, CRM, and billing), Stripe (payment processing), and other tools we use from time to time. Your use of those platforms is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or actions of third-party providers outside our reasonable control.
We take real care with your bookings and recordings, but equipment and software can fail. Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our total liability for any booking, project, or subscription is capped at the amount you paid to us for that specific booking, project, or the most recent subscription period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue, lost audience, lost sponsorships, or lost profit.
Keep your own copy of your files once delivered — we are not a backup service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last Updated" date above shows when. The version in force when you booked or purchased is the version that applies to that booking or purchase. Continued use of our Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
